Purpose:
You are invited to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) titled “California Business Connect (CBC) Online Modernization/Replacement.” The California Secretary of State (SOS) is seeking information from the vendor community via this RFI to gather market information regarding available software solutions and related support services for the replacement, enhancement, or modernization of California Business Connect.
Specifically, the SOS seeks information to:
a. Understand available solution approaches, including COTS, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), configurable platforms, and custom solutions;
b. Review implementation and support models;
c. Obtain rough order-of-magnitude information regarding costs, schedule, and risks; and
d. Inform future planning, market research, and a possible future procurement.
