Storage and Backup Team Manager

Storage and Backup Team Manager independently plans, organizes, directs, and oversees the activities of the Storage Administration & Cloud Infrastructure Support Unit (SACISU). The ITM I manages directly or through subordinate supervisors and staff by providing direction to staff in order to design, develop, implement and support a highly available and complex Storage, Backup and Cloud Services as well as Mobile Device Management environments. This unit’s primary responsibility is the operational support of storage and backups, the supporting hardware and software systems, Private and Public Cloud Services in support of Department of Justice (DOJ) staff statewide, as well as partner Law Enforcement Agencies and public safety organizations within California. In addition, SACISU functions as technical advisors and architects along with providing analysis, review and implementation of new technologies for all new projects and systems planning to use this technology.

The ITM I work schedule includes working various shifts, weekends, holidays, odd days off, overtime, providing after hours on-call assistance, and traveling when needed. Temporary assignment to other shift(s) may be required.
