About this Role:
Under the administrative direction of the Chief, Medi-Cal Enterprise Systems Modernization Division (MESMD), Career Executive Assignment (CEA) B, the Information Technology Manager II serves as Chief of the Software Engineering Branch.The incumbent directs this work through subordinate managers and supervisors and delegates architecture and technical design authority to the branch’s senior engineering manager. The incumbent is accountable for delivery outcomes, operational performance, security and compliance posture, contract and vendor performance, budget, and workforce, and serves as the branch’s contract management authority for information technology services, staffing, licensing, and support agreements.
