Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Cloud/Infrastructure Orchestration IT Manager I, the IT Specialist I automates and orchestrates processes across California Department of Technology service areas — building single processes that ensure high availability, scaling, failure recovery, and dependency management while enabling self-service ordering and minimizing manual effort. The role requires deep understanding of cloud IaaS/PaaS offerings across AWS, Oracle, Google, and Azure, plus VMware cloud technologies.
