We are Toastmasters for Project Managers. We meet the first and third Wednesday of every month from Noon to 1:00 pm, online. If you are working in the field of project management and want to practice public speaking, to improve your communication competence and build leadership skills you will certainly benefit from TM for PMs! With Toastmasters, you can break barriers, not your budget. As a project manager, you need to communicate with your team, your boss and the shareholders; and you know that your public speaking skills are constantly in use. In light of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Toastmasters clubs around the world are holding online meetings. Whether you are interested in joining Toastmasters or a current member looking to continue your journey, online meetings are a great way to accomplish your goals and achieve personal and professional growth! Participate in Toastmasters’ proven program, where you’ll learn how to speak comfortably in front of a group and lead with purpose. People who join Toastmasters find potential they never thought they had and achieve more of their goals and dreams. Attend meetings where you will regularly practice skills that make you a more confident speaker and leader. These real-world, highly in-demand soft skills will help you advance your career, acclimate to a new city or even get a new job! **Please Use Source Link Below to Confirm Event Details** Description: This is a facilitated roundtable discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. The intent of these meetings is to promote an informal gathering of a dozen project managers, working in commercial and private sector organizations to discuss current topics related to project management. Participants will receive suggestions from the other attendees on current challenges, and share information on items of interest. These meetings are open to anyone who is interested enhancing their project management knowledge and meeting other PM professionals. A Chapter Volunteer facilitates every meeting. What can you expect to gain from attending this meeting? The intent of the meeting is to add to each participant’s knowledge of project management and provide an opportunity to network with other PM professionals from a wide variety of vocational disciplines. We will spend about 10 minutes at the beginning of each discussion on a monthly kickoff topic of general interest. You are welcome to share your ideas, expertise, and experience in this field. As always, please bring your own topics of interest for sharing with your colleagues. We are always happy to help with networking.
